I was tasked with redesigning Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami. The original book design was an obscured blend of shapes and did not fit the mystical essence of the story. My redesign references the push & pull relationship between the main character and a crow who the character often speaks to throughout the story. It is implied later in the book, that the crow is an imagined persona, representing a wiser version of the main character.
